When can I expect to hear from Phillips-Medisize after submitting an on-line application?
It can take 1-3 weeks, depending on the level of the position.
Will someone contact me after I’ve submitted my on-line application?
Someone from Phillips-Medisize will be in contact if we need additional information from you, including scheduling an interview.
I am interested in several positions. Do I need to complete an on-line application for each position?
Because of our multiple locations, and in some instances, shifts, we do require an on-line application for each position. Our on-line application is a quick form, and you can attach your resume (please attach as a Word, PDF or text file). Each facility has its own hiring team and reviews candidates for open positions.
Should I attach a cover letter?
You can attach a cover letter or submit the information that would normally go in a cover letter in the on-line application field designated “Message to Hiring Manager.”
What is your hiring process?
Once you complete the brief on-line application and attach your resume, your information will be reviewed by a recruiter to determine if you meet basic qualifications for the position. Your information is then shared with the hiring manager and facility Human Resources Manager.
In most situations, a telephone interview is the next step. This will take about 30-40 minutes and be scheduled in advance. The telephone interview assesses your technical skills and interests in regards to the position, location and shift.
The last step will be an onsite interview. Our interview process is behavioral based, and will involve several interviewers. Our interview process evaluates the way you have handled similar situations in the past and is not a matter of getting the answer right or wrong. The interview process usually takes 2-3 hours, and will include a tour of the facility.
Everyone’s opinion counts, ensuring our hiring process is fair, while maintaining high standards. Depending on the situation, it can take up to two weeks for us to make a hiring decision. If you have additional questions after your interview, you can contact the recruiter or Human Resources Manager.
