Believing that people are Phillips-Medisize’s most valuable resource, 3-4% of our annual payroll is dedicated to training and development. To support this belief, Phillips-Medisize has a learning center in each facility and a stand-alone training facility where external trainers are brought in for specific educational needs. Training in areas such as mold tech development, engineer-in-training (EIT), and internships – in a variety of disciplines – offer Phillips-Medisize’ people numerous opportunities to expand their careers. To promote development, Phillips-Medisize also offers internal training, with over 150 instructor-led and over 75 self-paced classes. And with Phillips-Medisize’s educational assistance program, our people can receive financial reimbursement for university or technical training courses.
