Training
Part ImageBelieving that people are Phillips Plastics’ most valuable resource, approximately 3-4% of our annual payroll is dedicated to training and development. To stimulate this belief, Phillips has a learning center at each location and a stand-alone training facility where external trainers are brought in for specific educational needs. Training in areas such as mold tech development, engineer-in-training (EIT), and internships in a variety of disciplines offer Phillips’ people numerous opportunities to expand their careers. To promote development, Phillips also offers internal training, with over 150 instructor lead and over 75 self-paced classes. With Phillips’ educational assistance program, people are also given the opportunity to advance their careers with university or technical training courses. This commitment and belief in our people ensures we have the best-trained workforce for our customers.
