Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot extrusion processes/equipment and implement corrective actions
• Analyze, define and present recommendations to best fit customer’s needs based on resources available
• Develop and foster relationships with strategic partners for continued business growth
• Facilitate effective communication on various aspects of the project amongst the customers, sales, and suppliers
• Identify and validate alternate materials
• Planning and conducting customer trials
• Provide a seamless customer experience that will allow us to more effectively penetrate and close additive sales
• May act in a sales consultive role

Qualifications:

• B.S. Chemical Engineering or B.S. Chemistry with 2-6 years related experience. Or 5-10 years of directly related experience and education in the extrusion and plastics testing field
• Minimum two years experience in extrusion and plastics testing
• Experience in extruded composites
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with vendors, customers and various internal functions
• Demonstrated ability to review data and draw conclusions from available information
• Proficient in extrusion and testing of thermoplastic resins
• Able to manage multiple projects and utilize project management tools
• Self-starter with ability to help set and meet AlterForm’s growth objectives
• Familiarity with the wood plastic composite industry a strong plus
• Experience in technical troubleshooting and problem solving
