Responsibilities:
This is an 18 month rotational development program. There are three rotations to different facilities.
Participate and assist engineering efforts to ensure optimum engineering of projects/programs to meet customer and manufacturing requirements from a Quality standpoint.
Interface with customers to resolve issues
Be a technical resource for the initiation and implementation of cost improvement plans on new and existing programs
Coordinate new process techniques that improve overall job efficiencies
Assist in the implementation of systems and procedures that assure compliance with Quality Standards
Assist in the development and implementation of statistical incoming and in-process sampling/control plans
Participate in AQP meetings representing quality, where appropriate
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in quality engineering, quality management, applied science, or statistics with 0 - 2 years of related experience
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), attribute charting, Xbar & R charts, process capability studies, Pareto and cause/effect charts, DOE’s
Ability to manage small programs with limited assistance from others
Understanding of computer tools and systems
Ability to learn communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
