Building/Grounds Maintenance

Phillips Medical - New Richmond, Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or coordinate building and ground maintenance to include projects such as, but not limited to: lawn, painting, changing of light bulbs, carpet cleaning, wall paper repair, repair of restroom plumbing fixtures, changing of air filters and ceiling tiles as needed
  • Perform daily/weekly building and grounds inspections
  • Perform snow removal – apply of salt and sand on entryways & sidewalks
  • Keep parking lot and loading dock area clean & clear of garbage, etc.
  • Coordinate and perform miscellaneous building maintenance (light bulbs/fixtures, etc.)
  • Maintain vehicles assigned to facility(s) and provide training on procedures for the use of these vehicles
  • Conduct monthly checks on sprinkler system and fire extinguishers
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets in database system
  • Manage equipment, etc. going in and out of warehouse (not tooling related)
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance activities (electrical work does not exceed Class 0 per NFPA-70)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Building maintenance experience
  • Additional Education or experience in office practices
  • Knowledge of various software packages to include spreadsheets, word-processing and databases
  • Able to perform building and ground maintenance duties according to established standards
  • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Manage time and projects independently
  • Ability to work with supervision
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Maintain high level of professionalism
