Getting people to brush their teeth is one thing. Creating a toothbrush people enjoy using is another. But creating a one-piece toothbrush handle that incorporates five materials in addition to the aesthetic and durability characteristics of multi-shot molding is a whole different story.

To answer the call, Phillips Plastics Corporation™ molded five materials together to create a five-shot, one-piece handle. In the end, Phillips Plastics was able to meet the criteria for the redesigned toothbrush while cutting down the number of components and reducing overall assembly operations.
