Phillips Plastics Corporation® Announces Facility Donation to Northcentral Technical College

Phillips, Wisconsin - Phillips Plastics Corporation is pleased to announce the donation of a warehouse in Phillips, Wisconsin to Northcentral Technical College (NTC). This facility will help the school's expansion goals into northern Wisconsin and improve their presence in Price County. The Center of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing will be a place for high school and NTC students from the area to explore career opportunities in manufacturing. A public ceremony commemorating the donation is scheduled to take place February 26, 2009 at 11:00am at the NTC Phillips campus in Phillips, Wisconsin.

The donation will help the community and Phillips Plastics by allowing NTC to give their students a better educational experience with a potential employer in the area. Jason Grendahl, Phillips Plastics Plant Manager states, "We are pleased to support NTC's expansion into northern Wisconsin. Making this location a center of excellence for manufacturing is a huge benefit for our community and Phillips Plastics. To be a partner with a technical institute to help define curriculum and provide career opportunities for the citizens of Phillips and our surrounding communities is truly a win- win situation." Classes offered will include electromechanical, welding and plastics.

Phillips is a strong believer in supporting the community and one of its founding Principles is Community, which states "To encourage corporate and personal involvement and commitment to the communities in which our people and businesses reside."
