Phillips Plastics Corporation® Awarded 2007 Lilly Global Supplier Award
Prescott, Wisconsin - Phillips Plastics Corporation, a forty-three year-old custom injection molder of plastic and metal, was recently honored with a 2007 Lilly Global Supplier Award. This is the second year in a row that Phillips has received this award. The Company was presented with the distinction on August 1, 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Phillips was also selected to receive the first ever Lilly Supplier Relationship Management Award, which is the result of Phillips’ above and beyond efforts to maintain and grow the relationship with Eli Lilly and Company.
According to Brad Wucherpfennig, Phillips’ President and COO, “Winning this award makes me especially proud of our company, for it represents recognition from the marketplace that we truly are a preferred, world-class supplier.” Eli Lilly and Company has a supplier base of approximately 6,000, of which, 100 are nominated for the Award. Phillips Plastics was one out of a pool of 11 given the award this year. The Company has worked with Eli Lilly and Company for over ten years.
The award was created in order to recognize the exceptional efforts of suppliers and the Eli Lilly and Company personnel who work with them. The annual award allows Eli Lilly and Company to reward suppliers who provide a competitive edge.
